Swindale

The project involved the complete renovation and alteration to the existing redundant farmhouse.

The brief:

The plan was to make the redundant farmhouse to be fit for purpose in the 21st Century. This required attention to detail to make the project cost effective and energy efficient, in what is a very exposed site within the heart of the Lake District and also environmentally acceptable in a very contentious position within the countryside.

Testimonials

  • The Epicentre, commercial development

The work to transform an old café in the centre of Ambleside into a state of the art retail outlet involved major construction work, in a very restrictive site, but it was completed on time and on budget and exceeded our expectations. The accolade for Best Commercial Project in the North West was richly deserved by T.H.I Ltd.
